My daughter has picked up crochet as a pandemic hobby. Knitting is way too much "mom's thing" and "too complicated" but crochet seems to be about right.
Her most devoted companion is our cat, who has learned that the teen has access to all of the most comfortable blankets, and has plenty of time to also cuddle with the cat.
